Component name, Platform, Fix ID:

ascd / conductormgmt, Linux x86_64, sc-2.3-build515101

4.    Installation and configuration

a.      Log on to the Linux master host as the cluster administrator and source your environment:

(BASH) . $EGO_TOP/profile.platform

(CSH) source $EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform

b.      Stop the ascd, REST, and WEBGUI services:

$ egosh service stop ascd REST WEBGUI

c.      On each of your Linux management hosts (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), download the conductormgmt-2.3.0.0_noarch_build515101.tar.gz, egomgmt-3.7.0.1_noarch_build515101.tar.gz, ascd-2.3.0.0_noarch_build515101.tar.gz, and egorest-3.7.0.1_noarch_build515101.tar.gz packages to, for example, a /conductorfixes directory.

d.      Use the “egoinstallfixes” command to install each of the packages in the order specified:

$ egoinstallfixes /conductorfixes/conductormgmt-2.3.0.0_noarch_build515101.tar.gz

$ egoinstallfixes /conductorfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0.1_noarch_build515101.tar.gz

$ egoinstallfixes /conductorfixes/ascd-2.3.0.0_noarch_build515101.tar.gz

$ egoinstallfixes /conductorfixes/egorest-3.7.0.1_noarch_build515101.tar.gz

NOTE: Running this “egoinstallfixes” command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files.

e.      Run the “pversions” command to verify the installation:

$ pversions -b 515101

f.       Edit the $EGO_CONFDIR/../../gui/conf/pmcconf/pmc_conf_ego.xml file and define your values for the following parameters for LDAP authentication:

                                <Parameter>
                        <Name>LDAPURL</Name>
                        <Value></Value>
                </Parameter>
