Installing or Updating IBM Content Navigator, IBM CMIS Version 3.0.4 Interim Fix 5

The following information and steps apply both IBM Content Navigator and IBM CMIS. To install the interim fix, perform the steps below using the interim fix executable. When you install an interim fix, you can run the installation wizard or run a silent installation. The interim fix can be installed as an update to IBM Content Navigator, IBM CMIS Version 3.0.4.0 or later.

The interim fix installation program updates the files in the directory where IBM Content Navigator or IBM CMIS is installed. After the installation program completes successfully, restart the web application server and redeploy the IBM Content Navigator or IBM CMIS web application to apply the changes from the interim fix.

To install IBM Content Navigator, Version 3.0.4 Interim Fix 5:

  1. Back up your current installation of IBM Content Navigator.
  2. Ensure that the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool is closed.
  3. Log in to the IBM Content Navigator server with the IBM Content Navigator installer account.
  4. Install the interim fix by running the installation wizard or by running a silent installation:
    Important: Do not enter line breaks in the command that you enter to start the installation program.

    AIX

    At a command prompt, change to the directory where you downloaded the interim fix and enter one of the following commands:

    Linux

    At a command prompt, change to the directory where you downloaded the interim fix and enter one of the following commands:

  5. Open the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment tool, click File > Open Deployment Profile, select the target deployment profile and click Open.

  6. If the External Share feature is needed, then perform the bulleted steps below and then continue to Step 7, else continue to Step 7

  7. Run the "Configuring the IBM Content Navigator web application" task. For more instructions, see the topic, "Configuring the IBM Content Navigator web application" in the information center: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEUEX_3.0.4/com.ibm.installingeuc.doc/eucup019.htm.

  8. Run the "Build the Web Application" task. For more instructions, see the topic, Rebuilding the IBM Content Navigator web application in the information center: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEUEX_3.0.4/com.ibm.installingeuc.doc/eucup007.htm.

  9. Run the "Deploy the Web Application" task in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool for the profile that you want to redeploy.

  10. Stop the IBM Content Navigator web application server.

  11. Clear the application server cache:

  12. Start the IBM Content Navigator web application server.

  13. Verify that the correct version of the software is deployed to the web application server. For more information, see the topic, "Verifying your deployment" in the information center: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEUEX_3.0.4/com.ibm.installingeuc.doc/eucup022.htm.

Removing the interim fix

When you uninstall the interim fix, you also uninstall IBM Content Navigator or IBM CMIS.

The interim fix for IBM Content Navigator or IBM CMIS uninstallation program removes the program and all applied fixes. You cannot remove only the interim fix.

Updating the Edit Service client

To update the Edit Service client, uninstall the old version and install the new version on Windows. Remove the old version and unpack the new version on Mac.

Fixes included in IBM Content Navigator, IBM CMIS Version 3.0.4 Interim Fix 5

The fixes that were provided in previous IBM Content Navigator, IBM CMIS Version 3.0.4 Interim Fixes are combined in this fix.

Daeja ViewONE Virtual 5.0.5 iFix 5 and Daeja ViewONE Professional 4.1.5 Fix Pack 2 iFix 32 are included in this IBM Content Navigator Interim Fix. Please note that the readme for Daeja ViewONE Professional is the same as the readme for Daeja ViewONE Professional 4.1.5 Fix Pack 2 iFix 1.


IO26672 (Regression) Document is not checked out when editing properties from the Properties Pane.

(IBM Content Manager users) If the properties of a document are modified in the Doc Info pane, the document is not checked out. With the fix, when a user modifies properties of a document in the Doc Info pane, the document will be checked out.


IO26822 Heap memory consumption grows continuously.

(IBM Content Manager users) The heap memory consumption grows continuously requiring the server to be restarted. With this fix, the memory consumption is stabilized.


IO26865 New annotations are duplicated when automatically saved.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When closing the viewer window with the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer tab that has news annotations without saving, if the 'annotationAutoPrompt' parameter is set to false and the 'annotationAutoSave' parameter set to true, then the new annotations are auto-saved but with duplicate copies laid over each other. With this fix, the new annotations are auto-saved without any duplicate copies.


IO26885 Error occurs when saving a document that has a read-only DateTime property with a value that contains seconds.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) An error occurs when a user attempts to save the properties of a document that has a read-only DateTime property with a value that contains seconds, e.g., 12/31/2018 12:00:55 PM. With this fix, the document can be saved.


Security Issue: Fix added for Edit Client (Mac) to validate SSL certificates along with an option to turn the validation off.


IO26792 Cannot save a document that has a read-only multi-valued string property with an empty string value.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) An error occurs when a user attempts to save the properties of a document that has a read-only multi-valued string property with an empty string value. With this fix, the document can be saved. For External Data Service requests, an array will be sent for multi-valued properties regardless if the value is empty, not set, or has only one item. Before this fix under some circumstances, a blank string (' ') would be sent for empty values and if the value contained one item, only the item in the array would be sent (i.e., 'abc' was sent to EDS if the value was [ 'abc' ]).


IO26807 Template document with .msg extension cannot be added for edit category Outlook.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When user creates a new edit category with MIME type - application/vnd.ms-outlook, and adds a template document with extension .msg into this category, ICN shows an error message that the selected document has invalid MIME type. With this fix, the template document can be added correctly.


IO26851 Save button is not available when editing a search template that was opened using a bookmark link.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When editing a search that was opened using a link, the search cannot be saved because the Save button is not available. With this fix, the search can be saved.


Security Issue: (IBM Content Navigator users) Mac Edit client will not validate SSL certificate if IBM Content Navigator is configured to use SSL. With the fix, Edit client will validate the certificate.


Security Issue: (IBM CMIS users) Spring Framework upgraded to 4.3.22 from 4.1.8 to fix vulnerability CVE-2018-15756.


PJ45649 IBM CMIS Web Service Binding fails with an exception.

(IBM CMIS users) Web Service Binding fails with an exception for both IBM CMIS for Content Manager and IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager (Versions 1 and 2), on Linux. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26847 IBM CMIS for Content Manager OnDemand does not support ODWEK SSL configuration and non-default installation location.

(IBM CMIS users) The parameter ODWEK_INSTALL_DIR allows ODWEK, when installed at a non-default location, to access to its native libraries. The ODSSL parameters are to configure the SSL communication between ODWEK and the Content Manager OnDemand server. With this fix, both these parameters are supported.


IO26878 Teamspace folders not shown in 'Move to Folder' action from teamspace search results.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When selecting the 'Move to Folder' action on a document in a teamspace from the teamspace search results list, the dialog displays the folders in the repository and not the teamspace folders. With this fix, the move to folder dialog will display the teamspace and its folders.


IO26820 Content list in Attachment tab of custom step processor does not resize.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When resizing a custom step processor, the content list hosted on the attachments tab does not resize as expected. If the user increases the width of the screen, the widget remains the same size and does not adjust to fill the available screen space. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26870 Text area is not resized if it is put on a titled layout.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Text area is not resized if it put on a titled layout and the second tab is put on a tab layout. With this fix, the text area is expanded correctly and shows all of the text.


IO26584 Missing parameter in database script causes operational failure.

(IBM Content Navigator users) ORACLE_ONE_SCRIPT.sql Script has a missing '@ECMClient_SCHEMA@' for DEVICEREGISTRY section that causes database operation failure. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26826 Saved search execution results in error if the 'Default search results toolbar menu' contains a sub-menu.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Attempt to run a saved search results in an error if the 'Default search results toolbar menu' contains a sub-menu.

Security Issue: CSV injection vulnerability when exporting content lists fixed.


Security Issue: Vulnerability that allows executable files in Edit Service client fixed.


Security Issue: Fix added for Edit Client (Windows) to validate SSL certificates along with an option to turn the validation off.


IO26783 A java.lang.nosuchmethoderror error occurs on call to getrequestactionform() method.

(IBM Content Navigator users) A java.lang.NoSuchMethodError exception occurs when com.ibm.ecm.extension.PluginServiceCallbacks.getRequestActionForm() method is called in a plugin after updating to IBM Content Navigator 3.0.3 or later. With this fix, the error no longer occurs.


IO26716 Search criteria or results cannot be expanded and collapsed using the keyboard.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When building a search, the search criteria and search results sections cannot be expanded or collapsed using the keyboard. With this fix, the search criteria and search results sections can be expanded or collapsed by pressing the Enter key or space bar.


IO26718 Object-valued properties with an enumeration cardinality are displayed in search results with empty value.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When you run a search that includes object-valued properties with an enumeration cardinality, such as Folders Filed In, no values are displayed for these type of properties in the search results since they are not supported. With this fix, object-valued properties with an enumeration cardinality are not available for inclusion in search results.


IO26759 Property choice lists in a cross-repository search show values instead of display names.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Property choice lists in a cross-repository search show the values instead of the display names. With this fix, choice lists in a cross-repository search show the display names.


IO26799 Help icon displays help page after initial login to the administration desktop and not subsequently if the browser is refreshed.

(IBM Content Navigator users) The help link on the banner of the IBM Content Navigator administration desktop displays the help page only the first time after logging in, but not after the browser is refreshed. With this fix, the help link displays the help page.


IO26793 Save button is disabled on an entry template if it has a date or time property with default value specified.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a user edits an entry template layout and sets a default value for a date or time property, the Save button remains disabled and the changes cannot be saved. With this fix, the Save button is enabled and the changes can be saved.


IO26816 Clicking on a CIWEB error message link displays an incorrect web page.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When the link to a CIWEB error message displayed on an error dialog is clicked, an incorrect web page is displayed instead of the expected documentation for the error. With this fix the, the correct information about the error is displayed.


IO26699 When using Firefox, PDF documents may fail to open in the built-in PDF viewer.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users of Firefox may experience a situation in which opening a PDF using PDF Conversion Viewer will not open the browser's built-in PDF viewer. With this fix, users should be able to view PDFs using the browser's native PDF viewer.


IO26666 Download of multiple files may fail if one of the files is zero bytes in size.

(IBM Content Manager users) Users may experience a situation in which they are unable to download a group of files if one of the files has a size of 0 bytes. With this fix, users should be able to download a group of files even if one of the files is 0 bytes in size.


IO26769 Order of rows in Property Table of an Entry Template is incorrectly modified.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) If multiple rows are deleted from the Property Table of an Entry Template and then a new row is inserted, the last row is moved up and the new row is appended. With this fix, this issue does not occur.


IO26725 Custom date or time pattern specified in property layout of an entry template is not displayed for incorrect date or time values.

(IBM Content Navigator users) If a custom date or time pattern is specified for a property in the layout of an Entry Template and an invalid date or time for that property is entered, the error message does not contain the custom date or time pattern indicating that an invalid value was entered. With this fix, the custom date or time pattern is displayed in the error message.


IO26694 'Move from Teamspace' dialog is not displayed when this action is performed after re-sorting a teamspace folder's contents.

(IBM Content Navigator users) After re-sorting a teamspace folder's contents, if a document is selected from the teamspace folder and the 'Move from Teamspace' action is performed using the context menu, nothing happens. The 'Move from Teamspace' dialog is not displayed. With this fix, the 'Move from Teamspace' dialog will open when selecting the 'Move from Teamspace' action after re-sorting a teamspace folder's contents.


IO26712 Display icon for group changes to display icon for user after adding a group to a teamspace.

(IBM Content Navigator users) After adding a group to a teamspace, the icon for groups being added to a teamspace changes to a 'user' icon instead of a 'group' icon. With this fix, users will see the 'group' icon being displayed after a group is added to a teamspace, instead of a 'user' icon.


IO26675 Help text does not display for multi-value property table in internet explorer v11.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) The Help text for multi-value properties in the Property Table is not displayed in Internet Explorer v11, when using an Entry Template to add a document or a folder. With this fix, the Help text is displayed.


IO26708 Incorrect date value displayed sometimes, after changing desktop's display format for dates.

(IBM Content Navigator users) IBM Content Navigator users will see incorrect date value displayed in some circumstances after changing the desktop's display format for dates, For example, if the date display format is changed to display just the date portion instead of both date and timestamp portions, then subsequent date value changes will not be displayed correctly after saving the changes and refreshing. With this fix, the issue is resolved.


IO26724 Multi-line text annotations are displayed with last line missing, in daeja virtual viewer.

(IBM Content Manger users) When a multi-line text annotation created using IBM Content Manager Client for Windows is opened in IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional or Virtual viewers or in the Applet Viewer, the last line of the annotation is found to be missing. With this fix, text annotation is displayed correctly.


IO26743 Sticky note annotations created using IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer are displayed incorrectly.

(IBM Content Manager users) If a sticky note annotation is created using the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer without the application/vnd.ibm.v1json mime type created in IBM Content Manager, the box and the text are found to have the same color, which makes the annotation unreadable. With this fix, this issue is resolved and the text is made readable.


IO26801 JPEG image printed using the Print Applet may have a shadow.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When using the Print Applet to print a JPEG image, the output may contain a shadow. With this fix, the quality of the printed image is improved and this issue does not occur.


IO26788 When using Internet Explorer, the viewer window position is changed if the window was previously maximized and closed.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When using Microsoft Internet Explorer, after launching a viewer, if the viewer window is maximized and then closed, then the next time the viewer window is opened, it is seen to be off the center of the screen. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26789 Choice list date value, returned by EDS for a dependent date attribute, is not saved.

(IBM Content Navigator users) If a choice list is returned as a dependent attribute by EDS for a date property in an Entry Template layout, the selected date value is not saved to the property. With this fix, the issue does not occur.


IO26784 Worklist items are sorted incorrectly when sorting using a decimal attribute.

(IBM Content Manager users) IBM Content Manager users will see incorrect order in a worklist when sorting on a decimal attribute if paging of the workitems is also present. With this fix, the issue is resolved


Fixes included in IBM Content Navigator, IBM CMIS Version 3.0.4 - IF003

IO26425 IBM CMIS web services cannot be deployed.

(IBM CMIS users) IBM CMIS web services cannot be deployed in a Linux environment with an IBM WebSphere Network Deployment application server that is configured to use Java v1.8. With this fix, the web service are deployed successfully.


IO26471 Attempt to view federated content with CFS viewer plugin results in an error.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When viewing a federated content in CMOD using the CFS viewer plug-in, an error occurs. With this fix, federated contents can be viewed successfully.


IO25535 Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer displays old content with Never Create version policy.

(IBM Content Manager users) In this interim fix, this defect is fixed on Linux and AIX platforms. The IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer displays the old content when a document of an item type with the Never Create version policy is updated with new content. With this fix, along with the Daeja parameters below, the viewer displays the updated content. Add following parameters to the Additional settings section of the Daeja ViewONE Server tab only (do not add them to the Daeja ViewONE Virtual tab). Name: modifiedDocumentCheckMethod - Value: lastmodified Name: modifiedDocumentMinimumCheckTime - Value: 3s


IO26684 FileNotFound exception is seen in the server log when adding documents using Aspera.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When adding documents using Aspera, a FileNotFoundException is seen in the IBM Content Navigator server log indicating that the uploaded temporary file was not found. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26452 Microsoft Office documents cannot be printed using Daeja print service.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users cannot print Microsoft Office documents using the Daeja print service unless the Daeja Office module is installed. With this fix, Microsoft Office documents can be printed using the Daeja print service without installing the Daeja Office module.


IO26634 Updates made in Doc Info pane are not reflected in the content list.

(IBM Content Manger users) Updates made to document properties in the Doc Info pane in the Work feature, are not refreshed immediately in the Content List. With this fix, the issue is resolved.


IO26640 Error about 'freehand shapes' occurs when viewing images in Daeja ViewONE viewer.

(IBM Content Manager users) An error, 'Freehand shapes need at least 3 points' occurs when IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer is used to open some image documents. With this fix, this error does not occur and the image documents open correctly.


IO26651 Print fails when using load balancer URL.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When using a load balanced URL, the IBM Daeja ViewONE print service fails to print successfully as the final Print dialog never comes up. However, when using a direct server URL, the printing works fine. With this fix, printing using the IBM Daeja ViewONE print service is successful even when using a load balanced URL.


Security Issue: Security fixes added to address vulnerabilities CVE-2017-7658 in jetty-io package.


IO26629 ClassNotFoundException occurs with IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager.

(IBM CMIS users) IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager writes an 'class not found' exception in the IBM CMIS and FileNet Content Engine log files if the Social Collaboration Search Indexing Extension (add-on) is not found on the object store. With this fix, this exception which is not required to be captured is not logged to the IBM CMIS and FileNet Content Engine log files.


IO26669 Selecting all search results using Ctrl+A may result in inclusion of extra rows.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users may experience a situation in which selecting all search results with the keyboard (CTRL+A) results in the inclusion of 20 extra miscellaneous rows. With this fix, users should be able to select all the rows without any extraneous rows selected.


IO26351 Attempt to approve workflow using Internet Explorer results in error referencing '_PatternPropertiesMixin.js' file.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When approving a workflow using Internet Explorer v11.x, an error message, 'Uncaught ReferenceError: fieldName is not defined in file \navigator.war\ecm\widget\process_PatternPropertiesMixin.js' occurs. With this fix, this error does not occur.


IO26682 'Download as PDF' action on a JPEG document may result in changed background.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a JPEG image is downloaded as PDF, the background of the downloaded file might change. With this fix, the background color is correct and the quality of the converted file is improved.


IO26675 Help text for a multi-value property in property table of an entry template is not displayed in Internet Explorer.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) The Help text for multi-value properties in the Property Table is not displayed in Internet Explorer v11, when using an Entry Template to add a document or a folder. With this fix, the Help text is displayed.


IO26548 Arrow annotations created on documents, are displayed with reversed direction upon reopening the document.

(IBM Content Manager users) With IBM Content Navigator v3.0.3 interim fix 3 or higher and v3.0.4 or higher, arrow annotations created on documents, are displayed with reversed direction upon reopening the document. With this fix, annotations are saved and displayed correctly.


IO26618 Text or stamp annotations are displayed very tiny in the Daeja ViewONE viewer.

(IBM Content Manager users) With IBM Content Navigator v3.0.3 interim fix 3, text or stamp annotations created using IBM Content Manager Client for Windows, are displayed very tiny in the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual and Professional viewers. With this fix, annotation displays correctly.


IO26619 Text or stamp annotations saved using MODCA format are displayed with very reduced font size upon reopening the document in Daeja ViewONE viewer.

(IBM Content Manger users) When text or stamp annotations created using IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual or Professional viewers are saved using MODCA format, the font size of the text is reduced to a very small value when the document is reopened after saving the changes. With this fix, font size is not modified and the annotations are displayed correctly.


IO26609 Link in Doc Info pane for closing edit mode without saving property updates is incorrectly labeled as 'Cancel'.

(IBM Content Navigator users) The link in the Document Info pane for closing without saving changes is labeled 'Cancel', implying that clicking it will take the users out of Edit and into View mode. With this fix, the button is now labeled 'Close' when the user has not made changes, and 'Cancel' after changes are made.


IO26620 Multi-line text annotations are displayed with only the first line.

(IBM Content Manger users) A multi-line text annotation created in IBM Content Manager Client for Windows has only the first line displayed when viewing using IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual or Professional viewer. With this fix, the multi-line text annotation is displayed correctly.


IO26615 'NoClassDefFoundError' exception occurs when launching Task Manager or Sync in WebLogic.

(IBM Content Navigator users) An exception, 'NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.wink.client.ClientConfig (initialization failure)' occurs while launching Task Manager or Sync component in Oracle WebLogic Server v12.2.1.3. With this fix, the issue is resolved.


IO26608 Embedded images in some PDF documents are not displayed correctly.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Embedded images in some PDF documents are not displayed correctly with Preview or Open action in applet viewer. With this fix, the document and embedded image are displayed correctly.


IO26599 JPEG2000 image embedded in a PDF document is displayed as a blank page.

(IBM Content Navigator users) JPEG2000 image embedded in a PDF document is displayed as a blank page with the Preview action. With this fix, the PDF document and the image are displayed correctly.


Security Issue: Security fixes to address vulnerabilities CVE-2014-0114 and 2009-0001 in Task Manager component added.


Security Issue: Security fixes to address vulnerabilities 2010-0001, 2009-0001 and CVE-2015-5262 in Sync Server component added.


IO26654 Text annotation containing an equals sign (=) does not save correctly.

(IBM Content Manager users) When a text annotation with an equal sign in the text is saved in IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer, the annotation is saved in MODCA format and the equal sign along with the text that follows it, are not saved. With this fix, the annotation text is saved correctly.

IO26663 Text annotations are not saved when closing a browser tab, if annotationautoSave parameter is set to true annotationAutoPrompt is set to false.

(IBM Content Navigator users) In the viewer window, when closing the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer tab that has unsaved annotation changes, if the 'annotationAutoPrompt' parameter is set to false and the 'annotationAutoSave' parameter set to true, then the tab is closed without a dialog prompt and the annotation changes are lost. With this fix, the changes are saved automatically and the viewer tab is closed without a dialog prompt.


IO26643 Scroll bar does not scroll correctly in content list widget.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a user attempts to scroll up the list of items in the Content List widget using the mouse or keyboard, the scroll bar is positioned at middle even when first item in list is reached. With this fix, the Content List is scrolled correctly.

IO26511 Page navigation on FileNet COLD documents results in text file download.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When page navigation is done on FileNet COLD document that has been opened in the Daeja ViewONE Professional Viewer, through a bookmark link, instead of the navigation working as expected, a text file is downloaded. With this fix, the pages can be navigated successfully.


IO25239 Prompt to save annotation is displayed even when the 'annotationAutoPrompt' parameter is set to false and the 'annotationAutoSave' parameter set to true.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When the Daeja Virtual viewer window that has unsaved annotation changes is closed, with the additional parameters 'annotationAutoPrompt=false' and 'annotationAutoSave=true' configured for the viewer, an alert dialog about unsaved changes is shown, even though the changes are saved automatically. With this fix, the changes are saved automatically and the viewer window is closed without the alert dialog.


IO26463 Sticky note annotations containing more than 253 characters cannot be saved.

IBM Content Navigator users) Using IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional or Virtual viewers, sticky note annotations containing more than 253 characters are not saved. With this fix, the annotations are saved.


IO26502 Workplace XT created searches fail to run if the search criteria includes Any operator without values.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Searches created in Workplace XT fail to run when the search criteria includes the Include Any operator without values. With this fix, Workplace XT searches with this type of search criteria run successfully.


Security Issue: With this fix, Security vulnerability CVE-2018-11771 is resolved.


IO26517 Error occurs when viewing email documents using Daeja ViewONE viewers.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When viewing email documents using the Daeja ViewONE Professional or Virtual viewer, an error occurs. With this fix, the email documents can be viewed successfully.


IO26540 Microsoft Office document remains checkout after saving changes and closing the application..

(IBM FileNet Content Manager and IBM Content Manager users) After modifying a Microsoft Office document that has been opened using Edit Services, if the Microsoft Office application is shutdown (by clicking the X of the window) and 'Save' button is clicked on the subsequent dialog prompt, the document modification is checked in, but the document remains in checked out status. With this fix, the document will not remain in checked out status.


IO26557 Property table is refreshed unnecessarily when a property value is entered.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When a user completes entering a value in the Property Table of an Entry Template layout, the entire Property Table is refreshed unnecessarily. With this fix, the issue does not occur.


IO26542 Security section of of folder or document entry template is empty when using Internet Explorer.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When using Internet Explorer, the Security section of an Folder or Document Entry Template is empty when using it to create a folder or a document or when creating the Entry Template. With this fix, the issue is resolved.


IO26551 Context menu is not displayed with right mouse click on a text annotation's text area.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Using the Daeja Virtual viewer, right-click action of the mouse in the text area of a text annotation, does not show the context menu. With this fix, the context menu is displayed.


IO26556 Filename of PDF document may sometimes be truncated.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a user downloads a document as PDF, the filename may be truncated if a dot (.) character is present in the 'DocumentTitle' property and if the repository is configured to download document using the name of the item in the repository. With this fix, the filename of the downloaded PDF is correct.


IO26536 Call to setACL() method causes deletion of all ACEs.

(IBM CMIS users) The call to setACL() method of the CmisObject class causes all ACEs for a document to be deleted, in IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager v1.1. With this fix, the setAcl() method will retain all the ACEs applied for the document.


Security Issue: Fix for CVE-2018-15494 in Dojo Toolkit (dojox/grid/DataGrid) added.


IO26645 Tooltip does not follow mouse movement and remains after dialog is closed.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users may experience a situation in which the tooltip for the user search dialog does not fade away after the mouse is moved away from the row displaying the tooltip information. With this fix, the tooltip should fade according to the user's mouse movements and also once the dialog is closed.


IO26508 Property name exceeding 32 characters overlaps property value.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When editing property values, property names over 32 characters overlap the property value. With this fix, property names wrap to the next line when necessary.


IO26518 Line data documents fail to open in OnDemand HTML viewer.

(IBM Content Manager OnDemand users) Line data documents cannot be viewed in the OnDemand HTML viewer, when IBM Content Navigator is deployed using a non-default application name or context root. With this fix, line data documents can be viewed successfully.


IO26546 Highlight annotations lose color after saving them and reopening document.

(IBM Content Manager users) Highlight annotations created using Daeja Virtual viewer of IBM Content Navigator v3.0.3 interim fix 3 or later, or of v3.0.4 or later, lose their color, after the annotation changes are saved and the document is reopened. With this fix, the highlight annotations are saved correctly.


IO26547 Some URL data is included in getDesktop() response before user authentication.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Some URL data is included in the http://hostname:port/navigator/jaxrs/getDesktop response before the user is authenticated to ICN. This data includes the taskManagerServiceURL, OfficeOnlineServiceURL, and the hostName for each repository. With this fix, these URLs are not included in the getDesktop response unless the user is authenticated to ICN.


IO26552 'Configure Your Database and Datasource' task fails with error about missing argument when run multiple times.

(IBM Content Navigator users) The task, 'Configure Your Database and Datasource' task fails with an error about a missing argument when it is run multiple times with WebLogic application server, without enabling Task Manager component in the profile. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26543 Reflected XSS vulnerability on convertViewer.jsp file is fixed.

(IBM Content Navigator users) With this fix, a Reflected XSS vulnerability on convertViewer.jsp file is fixed.


IO26510 Boolean values (true/falsae) are not translated to French.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users are unable to see boolean values (True/False) translated into the French language. With this fix, the boolean values are now properly translated.

IO26308 PDF document created using Merge and Split mode fails to be saved.

(IBM Content Navigator users) After copying pages of a PDF document opened in Merge and Split mode and pasting into a new document, the attempt to save or add the new document fails, if the source document is checked in before adding the new document. With this fix, the new document can be added even after the source document is checked in.


IO26222 Download action on a group of documents includes documents that the user is not privileged to access.

(IBM Content Manager users) When a user selects multiple documents and clicks on the Download action, the download includes documents that the user is not allowed to view. With this fix, the Download action is disabled unless the user has the privilege to view all the selected documents. This is also true for all other actions that can be performed on multiple documents.


IO26306 When filtering a choice list, the list displays all choices that contain the input text instead of the choices that start with the input text.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When filtering a choice list, the list displays choices that contain the input text instead of the choices that start with the input text. With this fix, administrators can change the filtering scheme to starts-with by adding the 'useStartsWithChoiceListFilter' property with the value of 'true' to the Additional Parameters list in the Administration Settings.


IO26332 Name property of source document not used when creating new document with Merge and Split action.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When adding a new document using the Merge and Split action, the Name property of the source document is not used. With this fix, the Name property of the source document is used when the 'Use source document' option is selected.


IO26345 Read-only datatime properties in an entry template can be edited.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Datetime properties (the editor set to Date text box) in an entry template can be edited using the date picker even though specified as read-only, when using the entry template. With this fix, the ready-only Datetime property cannot be edited.


IO26296 After Cancel action in step processor, focus is reset to the first item.

(IBM Content Navigator users) After opening a work item using Step Processor, if Cancel button is pressed, focus returns to the first item (topmost) in the work list instead of returning to the cancelled work item. With this fix, the focus returns to the cancelled work item.


IO26342 Email action using HTML-based email fails on first attempt.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Users are unable to send items using the HTML-based email service on the first attempt, but succeed on subsequent attempts. With this fix, users can send items on the first attempt.


IO26399 Entry template disappears from teamspace when edited.

(IBM Content Manager, IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Editing an entry template that had been added to a teamspace causes the entry template to disappear from the teamspace's list of entry templates. With this fix, the modified entry template is saved correctly to the teamspace and will be available to the user.


IO26416 Drag and drop of a folder creates a copy instead of moving the folder.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Using Drag and Drop, if a user drags a document from a source folder where the document has been checked out and checked in by another user, to another folder then the document is seen to remain in the source folder while a copy created in the destination folder. With this fix, the document is correctly moved to the destination folder.


IO26418 Property values cannot be changed when using EDS.

(IBM Content Manager OnDemand users) Users are not able to change property values via External Data Services when adding a document or editing properties. With this fix, this issue is resolved.


IO26424 All actions listed in context menu are enabled regardless of user's permissions.

(IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When searching for documents in IBM FileNet Content Platform Engine v5.5 or later repository, if the option 'Enable content summaries (Text search only)' was selected in the 'Search Results Display', all actions were enabled in the document context menu. With the fix, only the actions the user has permissions to perform are enabled.


IO26395 Checkin action on a document added using entry template hangs.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a checkin action is performed on a document that has been added using an entry template with a custom layout and with EDS enabled for the document's class, there is no response on the browser after clicking the 'Check In button. With the fix, the check in completes successfully.


IO26347 Scroll bar does not work correctly.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When a user attempts to scroll up the list of items in the Content List widget using the mouse or keyboard, the scroll bar jumps to the bottom of the list. With this fix, the Content List is scrolled correctly.


IO26448 Advanced Search Settings cannot be used for some searches.

(IBM Content Navigator users) Users are unable to use Advanced Search Settings's search operators for searches that are saved in and run against different repositories if the user has unequal search privileges in these repositories. With this fix, users can view and use the Advance Search Settings's search operators, in the above case.


IO26442 Incorrect error message displayed on attempt to open a folder containing a special character.

(IBM Content Manager OnDemand users) If an OnDemand folder name includes a special character, such as '+', an erroneous error message displayed when the folder is opened, even though the folder opens successfully. With this fix, there is no error message displayed when the folder opens successfully.


IO26312 New version of document created when only the document attributes are updated.

(IBM CMIS users) IBM CMIS for Content Manager creates a new version of a document if the document's attributes are updated even though the document's content is not. With this fix, a new version of the document is not created when only the attributes are updated.


IO26266 Configuration profile is corrupted on non-English environments.

(IBM Content Navigator users) On non-English environments, if the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool is used to modify a profile's task, the profile gets corrupted and the task fails to run with an error. With this fix, the profile does not get corrupted and the task can be run successfully.


IO26444 The 'Configure Your Database and Data Source' task does not list the ojdbc8.jar as an available option.

(IBM Content Navigator users) When using the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, in the 'Configure Your Database and Data Source' task pane, the ojdbc8.jar is not listed as an available option in the 'Oracle JDBC driver' drop down field. With this fix, the ojdbc8.jar is listed as an available option.
