Before you
install this enhancement to your cluster, note the following requirements:

Follow these
instructions to download and install this enhancement on Linux hosts in your
cluster.

IBM Spectrum Conductor 2.3.0 must be installed in your cluster.
o
Python 2.6.6 or greater must be installed on
the hosts in your cluster.

Log on to each Linux host
as the cluster administrator

Source your
environment:
(BASH) . $EGO_TOP/profile.platform
(CSH) source $EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform
c.
Set the
IGNORECHECKFILEOWNER environment variable to Y:
$ export
IGNORECHECKFILEOWNER=Y
d.
On each of your
Linux hosts (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), download
the egomgmt-3.7.0.1_noarch_build511310.tar.gz package to, for
example, a /conductorfixes directory.

Install the egomgmt-3.7.0.1_noarch_build511310.tar.gz package:
$ egoinstallfixes /conductorfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0.1_noarch_build511310.tar.gz
NOTE: Running
this “egoinstallfixes” command
automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for
recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you
want to recover the original files.

Run the “pversions” command to verify
the installation:
$ pversions -b 511310
g.
Remove the previously used
environment variable:
$ unset IGNORECHECKFILEOWNER
Go to $EGO_TOP/3.7/scripts/ssltool/ and refer
to the README.txt files for detailed information about the SSL
tool.
If
required, follow these instructions to uninstall this enhancement in your
cluster:
a. Log on to each Linux
host as the cluster administrator
b.
Source your environment:
(BASH) . $EGO_TOP/profile.platform
(CSH) source $EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform
c.
Log on to each Linux
host in the cluster and roll back this fix:
$ egoinstallfixes -r 511310
