When the loader controller (plc) loads soamdb history files in IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.2.1, you might encounter a warning message about primary key constraints. This interim fix changes this warning message to debug level and prevents storing this data in the bad_record folder.

Follow these instructions to download and install this interim fix:
Prerequisites
Your Linux host must include the “ed” Linux line-oriented text editor.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the plc and purger services:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop plc purger
b. On each of your management hosts, download the egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build510209.tar.gz and soammgmt-7.2.1_noarch_build510209.tar.gz packages, for example, to the /symfixes directory.
c. Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build510209.tar.gz and soammgmt-7.2.1_noarch_build510209.tar.gz packages:
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build510209.tar.gz
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/soammgmt-7.2.1_noarch_build510209.tar.gz
NOTE: Running the “egoinstallfixes” command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d. Run the pversions command to verify the installation:
> pversions -b 510209

e. Start the plc and purger services:
> egosh service start plc purger
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow these steps to uninstall this interim fix:
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the plc and purger services:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop plc purger
b. Log on to each management host in the cluster and roll back this interim fix:
o To uninstall with the build number, enter:
> egoinstallfixes -r 510209
o To uninstall by specifying the full path to the interim fix package, enter (for example):
> egoinstallfixes -r /symfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build510209.tar.gz
> egoinstallfixes -r /symfixes/soammgmt-7.2.1_noarch_build510209.tar.gz
c. Start the plc and purger services:
> egosh service start plc purger
