Follow the instructions
in this section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.

Linux x86_64
Installation on Linux
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and disable all applications:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol
app disable all
b. Log on to each compute host in the cluster and back up the following
files, which will be replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sim
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/bin/soamdeploy
c. On each compute host, download the sym-7.1.2.0_x86_64_build509961.tar.gz package and extract it to the
Spectrum Symphony installation directory:
> tar zxfo sym-7.1.2.0_x86_64_build509961.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d. Run the sim -V and the soamdeploy -V command to verify the
installation:

> soamdeploy -V

e. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and enable your
applications:
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>

Uninstallation
If required,
follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix in your
cluster.
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol app disable all
b. Log on to each compute host in the cluster and restore the following
files from your backup:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sim
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/bin/soamdeploy
c. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and enable your
applications:
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>
