In Platform Symphony 6.1.0.1, the 'egosh user add' command accepts special characters, which can cause authentication of user logon to fail later. This interim fix provides a resolution to prevent special characters in user accounts.

4. Installation and configuration
a. Log on to each host in your cluster and back up the following file, which will be replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP\1.2.7\bin\egosh.exe
b. On each management and compute host, extract the sym6.1.0_ego1.2.7_win-x64_build510376.zip package to the Platform Symphony installation directory.
c. Run the egosh.exe -V command to verify the installation. For example:
> egosh
-V

Log on to each management and compute host in the cluster and restore the following file from your backup:
