1.   List of Fixes

        LSF Suite 10.2.0.6 iFix (504401) contains the following bug fixes:

        • 204194: When some increasing resources are defined in the head of Resource section of lsf.shared, LSF reports all hosts are busy due to threshold is reached.

       Also include the following iFixes: 

        LSF Suite 10.2.0.6 iFix (499974) contains the following bug fixes:

        • 199317: The mbschd daemon in the submission cluster core dumps when there is a job running in the execution cluster.

        LSF Suite 10.2.0.6 iFix (496046) contains the following bug fixes:

        • 194376: The lsf.csh files in the lsf-nfs-support and lsf-client RPM packages are not CSH formatted.

        • 194804: When uninstalling the LSF Suites, only the database is dropped.

        • 192686: The LSF lsid command does not show the correct Suite version.

        • 196214: Changes to default retention periods for some indices in the indexpurge.conf file.

       1) On IBM Power hosts:

                                        i.     RHEL 7.3 LE 

                                       ii.     Ubuntu 16.04

                                      iii.     RHEL 7.4 and 7.5 LE (for IBM Power 9)

       2) On 64-bit x86 hosts:

                                        i.     RHEL 7.2 and up

5.   Installation 

       1) Download the LSF Suite iFix  binary (suite10.2.0.6-build504401 x86_64.bin, suite10.2.0.6-build504401-ppc64le.bin) from Fix Central

       2) Run the downloaded LSF Suite iFix binary (suite10.2.0.6-build504401-x86_64.bin, suite10.2.0.6-build504401-ppc64le.bin).

       3) Deploy the updated LSF Suite installation by running the following command:
       cd /opt/ibm/lsf_installer/playbook
       ansible-playbook -i lsf-inventory lsf-apply-fix.yml 

       4) Restart LSF daemons by running the following command:
       lsf_daemons stop; lsf_daemons start

6.   Rollback

       If you want to roll back IBM Spectrum LSF Suite 10.2.0.6 iFix 504401 from the cluster:
       - Run the iFix package with the --rollback option.
         suite10.2.0.6-build504401-x86_64.bin --rollback

       - Navigate to the /opt/ibm/lsf_installer/playbook directory.
         cd /opt/ibm/lsf_installer/playbook directory

       - Run the lsf-rollback-ifix.yml playbook.
         ansible-playbook -i lsf-inventory lsf-rollback-ifix.yml
