The Spark
1.6.1, 2.1.1, 2.2.0, and 2.3.1 packages are installed with IBM Spectrum
Conductor 2.3.0. If you removed these Spark versions in your cluster and want
to add them again, download the required packages and add them from the cluster
management console.
Follow the
instructions in this section to download and add the Spark packages to your
cluster.
Linux 64-bit or Linux on POWER 64-bit LE
IBM Spectrum Conductor 2.3.0 must be installed on a
supported operating system. For details, see Installing
and upgrading IBM Spectrum Conductor.
1.
Download
the required Spark packages to a local directory on your computer:
Spark1.6.1-Conductor2.3.0.tgz
Spark2.1.1-Conductor2.3.0.tgz
Spark2.2.0-Conductor2.3.0.tgz
Spark2.3.1-Conductor2.3.0.tgz

Launch
a browser and log in to the cluster management console as a cluster
administrator.
3.
Add
each Spark package to your cluster:
a. Click Workload > Spark > Version Management.
b. Click Add.
c. Click Browse and select the package that you
downloaded previously.
d. Click Add.
4. Create a new Spark instance group that will use the new
Spark package. For details, see Creating
Spark instance groups.
