This readme document contains information about installation and removal of the interim fix and about known problems, restrictions, and solutions in support of IBM Content Navigator, Version 3.0.2.0.

For security reasons, you might want to prevent users from opening or previewing certain types of documents, such as HTML documents, by setting the No viewer option. When this option is set and users attempt to preview or open a document of the file type you specified, they will receive a message informing them that the document cannot be opened, it can only be downloaded.

When you install an interim fix, you can run the installation wizard or run a silent installation. The interim fix can be installed as an update to IBM Content Navigator, Version 3.0.2.0 or later.
If you do not have IBM Content Navigator installed and configured, you must install and configure Version 3.0.2.0 first and then install the interim fix.
The interim fix installation program updates the files in the directory where IBM Content Navigator is installed. After the installation program completes successfully, restart the web application server and redeploy the IBM Content Navigator web application to apply the changes from the interim fix.

When you uninstall the interim fix, you also uninstall IBM Content Navigator.

| IO26222 | (IBM Content Manager users) When a user selects multiple documents and clicks on the Download action, the download includes documents that the user is not allowed to view. With this fix, the Download action is disabled unless the user has the privilege to view all the selected documents. This is also true for all other actions that can be performed on multiple documents. |
| IO26244 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When running a Workplace XT search that queries multiple object stores, the repository assigned to items in the search results doesn't always match the repository where they are stored. With this fix the "Configure the IBM CMIS client authentication method" task will ensure that this file /opt/IBM/ECMClient/configure/explodedformat/META-INF/was.webmodule will be removed before building the cmisEAR.ear file. |

| IO26076 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) The buttons on the step processor dialog are disabled when the work item contains comments (F_Comment) longer than the maximum comment length defined in the event log. With this fix, the buttons on the step processor dialog are enabled regardless of the size of the comments. |

| IO25576 | (IBM CMIS users) CVE-2015-5211 and CVE-2016-5007 are related vulnerabilities. To fix CVE-2015-5211, the Spring Framework was upgraded to version 4.1.8. CVE-2016-5007 is tied to spring-webmvc-4.1.8.jar (Spring MVC Framework), which is bundled with IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager and IBM Content Manager. Though this jar is not used in the product and therefore does not have any impact, this vulnerability was addressed further by removing this jar. |

| IO25739 | The ICN redbook sample for chapter 8 cannot show viewer in customized step processor. After this fix, the viewer will be shown. |
| IO25756 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When searching with P8 multi-value timestamp properties, the expected results are not always returned because the search form only allows dates to be entered and the time is always set to 12:00 AM. With this fix, customers that wish to search with P8 multi-value timestamp properties using date and time can do so by setting the "inputMultiValueTimestampAsDateTime" variable to true on the Desktop model via a custom plug-in. |
| IO25762 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When a desktop uses the Cordierite theme, the month label in the date picker does not contrast with the background, making it difficult to read. With this fix, the month label in the date picker is legible. |
