IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 499645 Readme File

Abstract

Fix to support a general GPU number limit (that is, the number of ngpus_physical resources) when enabling the new GPU syntax.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 499645 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

When enabling the new GPU syntax (LSB_GPU_NEW_SYNTAX=Y|extend), LSF does not support a general GPU number limit to limit the number of ngpus_physical resources. This fix adds support for a limit on the ngpus_physical resource.

Example:

In the lsb.resources ,define a limit for ngpu_physical :

Begin Limit
NAME = Limit1
RESOURCE=[ngpus_physical,3]
End Limit
