4. Installation and configuration
Follow the
instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in your
cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to
the master host as the cluster
administrator and stop the SD service:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop SD
b. Log on to
each management host in the cluster and back up the following file, which will
be replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/sd
c. On each
management host, download the sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build493059.tar.gz package and extract its contents to the
Platform Symphony installation directory:
> tar zxfo sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build493059.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d. Run the sd -V command to verify the installation, for
example:
> sd -V
IBM
Platform Symphony 7.1.0.0 build 493059, Jun 04 2018

e. Start the
SD service:
> egosh
service start SD
5. Uninstallation
If required,
follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix in your
cluster.
a. Log on to
the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the SD service:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh
service stop SD
b. Log on to
each management host in the cluster and restore the following file from your
backup:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/sd
c. Start the
SD service:
> egosh service start SD
