SD performance in a Spectrum Symphony 7.1.2 cluster is impacted when a large number of open sessions are queried by a WSDL client, especially if the WSDL client and the cluster that the client connects to use different product versions. This interim fix resolves this issue in Spectrum Symphony 7.1.2.

Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the SD service:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop SD
b. Log on to each management host in the cluster and back up the following file, which will be replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sd
c. On each management host, download the sym-7.1.2.0_x86_64_build491231.tar.gz package and extract its contents to the Spectrum Symphony installation directory:
> tar zxfo sym-7.1.2.0_x86_64_build491231.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d. Run the sd -V command to verify the installation, for example:
> sd -V
IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.1.2 build 491231, Feb 19 2019
e. Start the SD service:
> egosh service start SD
5. Uninstallation
Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the SD service:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop SD
b. Log on to each management host in the cluster and restore the following file from your backup:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sd
c. Start the SD service:
> egosh service start SD
