Follow the instructions in this
section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to
the master host as the cluster
administrator, disable all applications, and stop the SD service:
> soamcontrol app disable all
> egosh service stop SD
b. On each
management host, back up the following file, which will be replaced by this
interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/soam/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/sd
c. Copy the sym6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build480165.tar.gz package
to each host and decompress the package:
> tar zxfo sym6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build480165.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d. Run the sd -V command to verify the installation, for
example:

build 480165, Jan 17 2018

e. Start the
SD service and enable your applications:
> egosh
service start SD
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the
instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix in your cluster.
a. Log on to
the master host as the cluster administrator, disable all applications, and
stop the SD service:
> soamcontrol
app disable all
> egosh
service stop SD
b. Log on to
each management host in the cluster and restore the following file from your
backup:
$EGO_TOP/soam/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/sd
c. Start the
SD service and enable your applications:
> egosh service start SD
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>
