P102450. This fix prevents LSF from sending a notification email with an empty mail body if the user submitted a job with the -B option.

If a user submits jobs with -B option to send an email notification when the job starts, the LSF Windows execution host might send the notification email with empty mail body.

5.1 Before installation

None.

 

5.2 Installation steps

1) Log on to the LSF master host as LSF cluster administrator

2) Run badmin hclose all 

3) Run badmin qinact all 

4) Log on to the Windows host as administrator, install the Windows patch

 

5.3 After installation

1) Log on to the LSF master host as LSF cluster administrator 

2) Run badmin hrestart all 

3) Run badmin hopen all 

4) Run badmin qact all 

 

5.4 Uninstallation

1) Log on to the LSF master host as LSF cluster administrator

2) Run badmin hclose all 

3) Run badmin qinact all 

4) Log on to the Windows host as administrator, remove the patch installation from the Windows control panel 

5) Run badmin hrestart all 

6) Run badmin hopen all 

7) Run badmin qact all
