5. Installation and configuration
5.1 Before installation
Backup
(LSF_TOP=Full path to the top-level installation directory of LSF.)
The following file should be backed up.
* <LSF_TOP>/<LSF_VERSION>/install/hostsetup
5.2 Installation steps
Update
Copy the new files by the commands below:
$sudo install -m 755 hostsetup <LSF_TOP>/<LSF_VERSION>/install/hostsetup
5.3 After installation
Confirm
Check whether the files are updated successfully.
$ls -l <LSF_TOP>/<LSF_VERSION>/install/hostsetup
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 91072 Sep 14 2017 hostsetup
NOTE: Make sure that the file permissions and owner are the same as shown in the example above.
The file size might be different.
Install & Update lsfd.service in systemd
$sudo ./hostsetup --top="<LSF_TOP>" --boot=y
Active the configuration
$sudo systemctl restart lsfd
