IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 466321 Readme File

Abstract

P102353. This fix allows the user to customize the job's Ticket Granting Ticket file name prefix.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 466321 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

The format of the job's Ticket Granting Ticket (TGT) file name is jobid_jobindex with a fixed prefix of "lsf_krb5cc_j" and stored in the /tmp directory.

This fix introduces a new parameter named LSB_KRB_TGT_PREFIX for the lsf.conf file to customize the TGT file name prefix.

Syntax

    LSB_KRB_TGT_PREFIX=string

Description:

    This parameter specifies the prefix of the job's Kerberos Ticket Granting Ticket (TGT) after enabling the TGT forwarding feature.

    Valid characters for this parameter are alphanmeric (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), minus sign (-), underscore (_) and period (.).

    The job's TGT is saved in the /tmp directory on the execution host and the file name is LSB_KRB_TGT_PREFIXjobid_jobindex.

    Run badmin hrestart all to make changes take effect.

Default

    The default prefix is "lsf_krb5cc_j".
