System requirements

Windows x86_64

Installation

1.      Disable your applications and shut down the cluster:

C:\>soamcontrol app disable al

C:\>egosh service stop all

C:\>egosh ego shutdown all

2.      Log on to all hosts in the cluster and back up the following files that will be replaced by this fix:

%SOAM_HOME%\..\1.2.7\etc\pem.exe

%SOAM_HOME%\..\1.2.7\etc\pem.pdb

3.      Log on to each host in the cluster, copy the sym6.1.0_win-x64_build463976.zip package.

4.      Unzip the sym6.1.0_win-x64_build463976.zip package to the Platform Symphony top installation directory.

5.      Run the following command to verify the installation. For example:

> pem.exe -V

6.      Start the cluster and enable your applications:

C:\>egosh ego start all

C:\>soamcontrol app enable <appName>

Uninstallation

1.      Disable your applications and shutdown the cluster:

C:\>soamcontrol app disable all

C:\>egosh service stop all

C:\>egosh ego shutdown all

2.      Roll back your changes:

Log on to all hosts in cluster and restore the backup file for the following binary:

%SOAM_HOME%\..\1.2.7\etc\pem.exe

%SOAM_HOME%\..\1.2.7\etc\pem.pdb

3.      Start the cluster and enable your applications:

C:\>egosh ego start all

C:\>soamcontrol app enable <appName>
