Installation

a.      Log on to the master host as cluster administrator, disable your applications:

> soamcontrol app disable all

b.      For recovery purposes, back up the following file, which will be replaced by this interim fix:

·        Log on to each Developer Edition (DE) host and back up $SOAM_HOME/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib64/libsoambase.so.

·        Log on to each client host and back up $SOAM_HOME/lib64/libsoambase.so.

c.      Install this interim fix:

·        On each DE host, copy the symde6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build459330.tar.gz package and decompress the file:

> tar zxfo symde6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build459330.tar.gz -C $SOAM_HOME

·        On each client host, copy the symclnt6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build459330.tar.gz package and decompress the file:

> tar zxfo symclnt6.1.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build459330.tar.gz -C $SOAM_HOME

d.  Log on to the master host as cluster administrator, enable your applications:

> soamcontrol app enable <appName>

Uninstallation

a.      Log on to the master host as cluster administrator, disable your applications:

> soamcontrol app disable all

b.      Restore the following file from your backup:

·        Log on to each DE host and restore your backup to $SOAM_HOME/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib64/libsoambase.so.

·        Log on to each client host and restore your backup to $SOAM_HOME/lib64/libsoambase.so.

c.      Log on to the master host as cluster administrator, enable your applications:

> soamcontrol app enable <appName>
