Abstract
Restarting the PLC service does not start the data loader if the DNS resolves the hostname differently.
Description
When you try and restart the PLC service, the data loader does not start if the DNS resolves the hostname in a different way; for example, by using a short hostname vs a fully qualified domain name.

6. Installation and configuration
Before installation
1. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator, stop the WEBGUI and plc services:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI plc
2. For recovery purposes, back up the following file to another directory:
> cp $EGO_TOP/perf/3.5/lib/perf_dataloader.jar $EGO_TOP/perf_dataloader.jar.bak
Installation
1. Log on to master host in your cluster as the cluster administrator, and decompress the cws-2.2.0.0-build456222.tar.gz to the directory where the perf_dataloader.jar files are located:
> tar -xzvf cws-2.2.0.0-build456222.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP/
Note: If you set up master host failover in your cluster, you must manually update the perf_dataloader.jar file on all the management hosts.
After installation
1. Start the WEBGUI and plc services:
> egosh service start WEBGUI plc
2. Launch your web browser and clear the browser cache
Uninstallation (if required)
1. Stop the WEBGUI and plc services:
> egosh service stop WEBGUI plc
2. Restore the following files from your backup:
$EGO_TOP/perf/3.5/lib/perf_dataloader.jar
$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/perf/3.5/perfgui/WEB_INF/lib/perf_dataloader.jar
$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/perf/3.5/perfguiv5/WEB_INF/lib/perf_dataloader.jar
Note: The install procedure installs the perf_dataloader.jar to three locations.
3. Start the WEBGUI and plc services:
> egosh service start WEBGUI plc
