Product Release: 6.1.1

Update Name: Interim Fix 455781

Publication Date: June 9, 2017

When the service instance manager (SIM) in IBM Platform Symphony 6.1.1 cannot get a listening port to receive connections from the service instance (SI), slots are not released after a session is closed. This interim fix provides a resolution for the issue, so that the SIM aborts and exits to free the slot when it cannot get a listening port.
