P102072 Fix to greatly reduce the probability of the suspended RES process remaining in the Windows execution host after killing a job.

When killing a job dispatched to a Windows execution host, the job RES process may also stay in the system in a suspended state, if the host load is very high.

5.1          Before installation

 

1)    Log on to the LSF master as LSF admin

2)    Run badmin hclose all

 

5.2          Installation steps

 

1)    Log on to the Windows host, install the Windows patch.

 

5.3          After installation

 

1)    Log on to the LSF master host as LSF admin

2)    Run badmin hrestart all

3)    Run badmin hopen all

 

5.4          Uninstallation

 

To roll back a patch:

1)    Log on to the LSF master host as LSF admin, run badmin hclose all

2)    Remove the patch installation from the Windows control panel.

3)    Log on to the LSF master host as LSF admin, run badmin hrestart all and then run badmin hopen all
