This Fix resolves the following issues: 1. Field dependency does not work when "Simple Browse" type fields are used in submission templates to control other input fields. 2. Values that are entered in fields of type "Simple Browse" are not saved in submission forms when the submission form is included in a flow. 3. A custom job directory that is specified in a submission form is ignored when the submission form is included in a flow.

This fix provides resolution for the following three issues:

-A custom job directory that is specified in a submission form is ignored when the submission form is included in a flow. The custom job directory field is defined in the submission template with the field ID OUTPUT_FILE_LOCATION.

  • 6.1  Before installation
    • Log on to the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center server host as root.
    • Set your IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center environment.
      For csh or tcsh:
      % source /opt/pac/cshrc.platform
      For sh, ksh, or bash:
      $ . /opt/pac/profile.platform
    • Determine the location of your existing IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center installation.
      #rpm -q --queryformat "%{INSTPREFIXES}\n" pcc-appcenter
    • Back up your existing installation.
      For example:
      #cp -rfp /opt/pac /opt/pac.bak
      
    • Check and record the version and build number of your existing installation of IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center in case you need to roll back the fix.
      pmcadmin -V
    • Stop all IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center services.
      perfadmin stop all
      pmcadmin stop
  • 6.2  Installation steps for IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center 10.1.0.1

    The following steps assume IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center is installed in /opt/pac.
    Replace with your actual installation directory.

    • Extract pac10.1.0.1_standard_linux-x64.tar.Z.
      tar -xzvf pac10.1.0.1_standard_linux-x64.tar.Z
    • As root, log on to your IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center 10.1.0.1 host.
    • Set your IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center environment.
      For csh or tcsh:
      % source /opt/pac/cshrc.platform
      For sh, ksh, or bash:
      $ . /opt/pac/profile.platform
    • Install the Fix Pack
      rpm -Uvh --prefix ${PAC_TOP} --nopreun pcc-appcenter-10.1.0.1-426232.x86_64.rpm
      Note: Replace ${PAC_TOP} with your actual installation directory.
    • Start IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center services.
      perfadmin start all
      pmcadmin start
• Uninstallation
  • 7.1  Before uninstallation

    Stop all IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center services:

    perfadmin stop all
    pmcadmin stop
  • 7.2  Roll back the fix

    The following steps assume IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center is installed in /opt/pac.
    Replace with your actual installation directory.

    • Determine the location of your existing IBM Application Center installation.
      #rpm -q queryformat %{INSTPREFIXES}\n pcc-appcenter
    • Download the RPM package for a version previous to the Fix, for example, pcc-appcenter-10.1.0.1-123456.x86_64.rpm.
    • Set your IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center environment:
      For csh or tcsh:
      % source /opt/pac/cshrc.platform
      For sh, ksh, or bash:
      $ . /opt/pac/profile.platform
    • Install the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center RPM package. For example:
      #rpm -Uvh --prefix ${PAC_TOP} --oldpackage --nopreun --noscripts pcc-appcenter-10.1.0.1-123456.x86_64.rpm.
    • If you have made any customizations, reapply your customizations from the backup directory.
    • Start IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center services
      perfadmin start all
      pmcadmin start
    • Clear your browser cache before logging into IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center.
      This is required on every browser that will access IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center. Otherwise, IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center will not work properly.
