Abstract
You are unable to use the management console to update a service package associated with an application profile.

Description
While updating an existing service package that is associated with an application profile, the management console throws an exception regarding the use of multiple points.

 

After applying this fix, you can successfully update the service package using the management console.

This fix applies only to the following platform:
Linux-x86_64

4.   Installation and configuration

4.1 Before installation 

1. Stop the WEBGUI service:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI      

2. Back up the following files:

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/soam/7.1.1/symgui/WEB-INF/lib/soamgui.jar

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/soam/7.1.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/RealSOAMApiWrapper.class

4.2 Installation steps 
Log on to every management host in the cluster and decompress the tar.gz file to your Platform Symphony installation directory:

> tar zxfo pssasetup2015_linux-x86_64_build424073.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP

4.3 After installation 

1. Clean up the GUI work directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

2. Start the WEBGUI service:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service start WEBGUI

4.4 Uninstallation 

1. Stop the WEBGUI service:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI

2. Restore the following files on all management hosts with the backed-up files:

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/soam/7.1.1/symgui/WEB-INF/lib/soamgui.jar

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/servers/gui/apps/soam/7.1.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/RealSOAMApiWrapper.class

3. Clean up the GUI work directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

4. Start the WEBGUI service:

> egosh service start WEBGUI
