Abstract

P101540: Fix to show "DONE" jobs in the Grid > Job Info > Details page. This fix is valid for use with IBM Platform LSF 9.1.x only

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Platform RTM 9.1.4 Fix 381430 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:
DONE jobs are not shown in the Grid > Job Info > Details page when remote poller and RTM server are in different time zones but with the same time zone abbreviation, for example CST. Apply this fix to resolve the issue.

5.   Installation and configuration

5.1    Before installation

    1) Back up all the affected files of RTM as lsf_backupname.tar.

        # cd RTM_TOP

        # tar -cvf lsf_backupname.tar  rtm/lsf91/bin/gridjobs

5.2    Installation steps

    1) Stop lsf poller service 

        # service lsfpollerd stop

    2) Download and extract rtm9.1.4-build381430_rhel6-x64.tar.gz  to the RTM_TOP directory 

        # cd RTM_TOP

        # tar -zxvf rtm9.1.4-build381430_rhel6-x64.tar.gz

    3) Start lsf poller service 

        # service lsfpollerd start

5.3    After installation

None

5.4    Uninstallation

    1) Stop lsf poller service 

        # service lsfpollerd stop

    2)  Rollback patch by using the back up package

        # cd RTM_TOP

        # tar -xvf lsf_backupname.tar 

    3) Start lsf poller service 

        # service lsfpollerd start
