IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 413299 Readme File

Abstract

P101895. This fix resolves a compatibility issue between IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 patches and the original IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 package that was available on Passport Advantage between June 17 2016 - July 22 2016.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 413299 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

This patch is for customers who downloaded an IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 package from Passport Advantage between June 17 2016 and July 22 2016. On July 23 2016, IBM refreshed LSF 10.1 GA packages by using the ICU dynamic link library to reduce the package size. However, 4 of the ICU dynamic link libraries were not included in the original LSF10.1 packages. This fix adds those missing ICU libraries to ensure any newly applied 10.1 patch binaries work properly with the LSF installation.
