5.2 Upload the fix tar file to the IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation management node.

5.3 On the IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation management node, extract the fix tar file.

# mkdir -p /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840

# tar -zxvf scf_4.2.2_418840_fix.tar.gz -C /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840

5.4 Back up the files in IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation management node.

       # mkdir -p /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840/backup

# cp /tftpboot/xcat/genesis.fs.ppc64.gz /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840/backup

# cp /tftpboot/xcat/ genesis.kernel.ppc64 /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840/backup

# cp /opt/xcat/share/xcat/netboot/genesis/ppc64/fs/usr/bin/bmcsetup /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840/backup

# cp /opt/xcat/share/xcat/netboot/genesis/ppc64/fs/usr/bin/doxcat /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.2_build418840/backup

5.5 On the IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation management node, uninstall the existing ipmitool-xcat package and then install the ipmitool-xcat-1.8.15 package.

# rpm -e ipmitool-xcat --nodeps
# rpm -ivh /opt/pcm/pcm_4.2.1.1_build410409/ipmitool-xcat-1.8.15-2.ppc64le.rpm

5.6  On the IBM Spectrum Cluster Foundation management node, uninstall the existing xCAT-genesis-base package and then install the xCAT-genesis-base-ppc64-2.12 package.
