Abstract
Clicking the check all button for a hybrid policy on
the Resource Plan page within the Platform management console resets all values
to their default values.
Description
Currently, in the Platform management console, when you access Resources > Resource Planning >
Resource Plan to view a resource plan, select Hybrid Policy as the slot allocation policy type, provide Owned Slots, Reserve, and Limit
values with integers, and click the check
all button, your values will be lost and reset to the default values.
After applying this fix, after you click the check all button, the Owned
Slots, Reserve, and Limit values you specified for your
hybrid policy remain saved.
This
fix applies only to the following platform:
Linux-x86_64

4.1 Before
installation
1. Stop the WEBGUI service:
> egosh user logon -u
Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI
2. Back up the following
file:
$EGO_TOP/gui/ego/3.1/platform/js/ResourcePlan_Functions.js
4.2 Installation
steps
Log
on to every management host in the cluster and decompress the tar.gz file to
your Platform Symphony installation directory:
> tar zxfo
sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build419360.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
4.3 After
installation
1. Clean up the GUI work
directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in
following directories:
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*
2. Start the WEBGUI
service:
> egosh user logon -u
Admin -x Admin
> egosh service start WEBGUI
4.4 Uninstallation
1.
Stop the WEBGUI service:
> egosh user logon -u
Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI
2. Restore the following
files on all management hosts with the backed-up files:
$EGO_TOP/gui/ego/3.1/platform/js/ResourcePlan_Functions.js
3. Clean up the GUI work
directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in
following directories:
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*
4. Start the WEBGUI
service:
> egosh service start
