IBM Platform Symphony 7.1 Interim Fix 416279 Readme File

Abstract
The error message “Too many users are accessing the Console at the same time. Try again later.” displays on the management console.

Description
Currently, if you enable or disable applications within the management console more than 30 times, the following error message displays: “Too many users are accessing the Console at the same time. Try again later.”

After applying this fix, the error no longer displays in the management console.

This fix applies only to the following platform:
Linux-x86_64

4.   Installation and configuration

4.1 Before installation 

1.    Stop the WEBGUI service:
   > egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
   > egosh service stop WEBGUI      

2.    Back up the following files:

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/SOAMAppList.class

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/SOAMAppConfList.class

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/symgui/WEB-INF/lib/soamgui.jar

4.2 Installation steps 
Log on to every management host in the cluster and decompress the tar.gz file to your Platform Symphony installation directory:
   > tar zxfo sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build416279.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP

4.3 After installation 

1.    Clean up the GUI work directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in following directories:

  > rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

2.    Start the WEBGUI service:

  > egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
  > egosh service start WEBGUI

4.4 Uninstallation 

1.    Stop the WEBGUI service:

  > egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
  > egosh service stop WEBGUI

2.    Restore the following files on all management hosts with the backed-up files:

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/SOAMAppList.class

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/soamgui/WEB-INF/classes/com/platform/soam/gui/api/SOAMAppConfList.class

$EGO_TOP/gui/soam/7.1/symgui/WEB-INF/lib/soamgui.jar

3.    Clean up the GUI work directories and the browser cache. Delete all subdirectories and files in following directories:
          > rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

4.    Start the WEBGUI service:

> egosh service start WEBGUI
