Included in this interim fix

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

• PO05958: IBM Intelligent Operations for Water 1.6.1.2 cumulative APAR
  • Auto refresh running continuously if the auto refresh interval is null
  • The 'Clear' button not clearing Assets filters
  • A datasource of an event remaining on the map after the filter is unchecked.
  • Translation issues in Asset Preview Card.

Prerequisites

• You must have root access to update the IBM Intelligent Operations for Water 1.6.1.2 servers.

Installation

1. Create a directory named iow in directory /installMedia.
2. Unpack the file IBMIOW-1.6.1.2-Linux-PO05958.zip to directory /installMedia/iow. The .zip file contains these directories and files:
   • apar/water_widgets_web.war
   • apar/Intelligent_Operations_for_Water_PO05958.fxtag
   • backup
   • bin/readme.html
   • bin/install.sh
   • bin/run.sh
   • bin/install.properties
   • bin/start_water_portal_ear.py
   • bin/stop_water_portal_ear.py
   • bin/get_cell.py
   • logs
3. Navigate to the directory /installMedia/iow/bin.
4. Change the file permissions for all script files in the directory chmod 755 *.sh.
5. Run the install script /installMedia/iow/bin/install.sh using the Websphere Application Server admin credentials
6. /installMedia/iow/bin/install.sh -u 'WAS admin username' -p 'WAS admin password'
7. For example:
8. /installMedia/iow/bin/install.sh -u admin -p password

Installation summary:

• After uploading the zip file IBMIOW-1.6.1.2-Linux-PO05958.zip to the directory /installMedia/iow
  • cd /installMedia/iow
  • unzip IBMIOW-1.6.1.2-Linux-PO05958.zip
  • cd bin
  • chmod 755 *.sh
  • ./install.sh -u admin -p password
