IBM Platform Symphony 7.1 Interim Fix 375780 Readme File

Abstract

For an environment with both Platform Symphony 7.1 and LSF 9.1.1, there is a compatibility issue with the PIM file.

Description

When a Platform Symphony 7.1 cluster works with LSF 9.1.1 in the same environment, Platform Symphony renames the PIM file. The sbatchd daemon for LSF requires this PIM file, and since it can no longer find the file, sbatchd will spend most of its time in sleep mode and become unresponsive.

Apply this fix to resolve the compatibility issue.

This fix applies to Linux x86_64 platform.
