IBM Platform LSF 9.1.1 Fix 377411 Readme File

Abstract

P101358. This fix allows the between-host user mapping feature to work at the user level on a Windows machine without a home folder.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Platform LSF 9.1.1 Fix 377411 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

If the user's Windows home folder is not configured, between-host user mapping does not work on Windows at the user level.

If there is no Windows home folder configured, LSF checks the wrong location for the .lsfhosts file. After this fix, LSF checks the %USERPROFILE% directory for the .lsfhosts file.

For more information on configuring a Windows home folder, see Microsoft support at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc785843%28v=ws.10%29.aspx.
