IBM Platform HPC 4.2 Fix 357368 Readme
Abstract
In a high availability environment, LSF service is not started on compute nodes due to the installation directory specified during your Platform HPC installation. If you specified an installation directory other than '/', then '/shared' is not mounted on compute nodes and the LSF service cannot be started. Before you enable high availability, apply Fix 357368 to resolve this issue.

Apply this fix to a non-HA environment, complete the following steps:
2. On the Platform HPC management node and standby management node, create backup of the helper.py file and the precheck.py file. Then, copy the extracted helper.py and precheck.py file to the same location.
# mv /opt/pcm/lib/python/kusu/ha/helper.py /opt/pcm/phpc-4.2-build357368/helper.py.orig
# mv /opt/pcm/lib/python/kusu/ha/precheck.py /opt/pcm/phpc-4.2-build357368/precheck.py.orig
# cp /opt/pcm/phpc-4.2-build357368/helper.py /opt/pcm/lib/python/kusu/ha/helper.py
# cp /opt/pcm/phpc-4.2-build357368/precheck.py /opt/pcm/lib/python/kusu/ha/precheck.py
