Abstract

SD is unable to register with the appropriate SD_SDK/SD_SSM port number.
 

Description

This is a log enhancement for the condition when SD is unable to register with the appropriate SD_SDK/SD_SSM port number.

 

This interim fix applies only to the following platform:

       Linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64

5.   Installation and configuration

5.1          Before installation

1.    Stop the application.

Log on to the management host as the cluster administrator and run:

> soamcontrol app disable appname

> egosh service stop all

> egosh ego shutdown all

 

2.    Back up the affected directory.

Log on to the management host, and back up the following file, which will be replaced by this fix:

$SOAM_SERVERDIR/sd

 

5.2          Installation steps

       Log on to the management host, and replace the old file with the downloaded one in the following directory:

$SOAM_SERVERDIR/sd

 

5.3          After installation

1.   Verify the installation.

Run:

> sd ¨CV

2.    Start the application.

Log on to the management host as the cluster administrator and run:

> egosh ego start all

 

> soamcontrol app enable appname

 

5.4          Uninstallation

1.    Stop the application.

Log on to the management host as the cluster administrator and run:

> soamcontrol app disable appname

> egosh service stop all

> egosh ego shutdown all

2.     Restore the backup file.

Log on to the management host and restore the backed up file from the following directory:

> $SOAM_SERVERDIR/sd

3.    Start the application.

Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:

> egosh ego start all

 

> soamcontrol app enable appname
