Description
Readme documentation for IBM Platform LSF 9.1.2 Fix 338790 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.
This fix addresses the following issue:
bjobs shows an error message when the number of concurrent bjobs queries exceeds the value of the MAX_CONCURRENT_JOB_QUERY parameter specified in lsb.params.
This fix makes the error message configurable by adding the following new parameter in lsf.conf:
LSB_MBD_QUERY_RETRY_MSG
Syntax
LSB_MBD_QUERY_RETRY_MSG="message_string"
Description
Specifies the message displayed by the bjobs command when the number of concurrent bjobs queries exceeds the value of the MAX_CONCURRENT_JOB_QUERY parameter specified in lsb.params.
Define this parameter if you want to customize the message.
Valid values
String, either non-empty or empty.
Default
Not defined. By default, LSF displays the message "Batch system concurrent job query limit exceeded. LSF is retrying. Please wait ..."
