P101102. Fixes an issue where a parallel job in LSF can remain in the PEND state longer than expected when using LSF and Platform Symphony together in a cluster, with EGO as the resource manager.

This fix addresses the following issue:
When LSF and Platform Symphony are sharing cluster resources using EGO as the resource manager, parallel jobs in LSF may remain in the PEND state longer than expected.
This problem only occurs if the parameters MBD_USE_EGO_MXJ=Y and PARALLEL_SCHED_BY_SLOT=Y are set in lsb.params.

5. Installation and configuration
5.1 Before installation
(EGO_TOP=Full path to the top-level installation directory of EGO.)
1) Log on to the LSF master host as root
2) Set your environment:
- For csh or tcsh: % source EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform
- For sh, ksh, or bash: $ . EGO_TOP/profile.platform
5.2 Installation steps
1) Back up $LSF_SERVERDIR/mbatchd and $EGO_LIBDIR/lib2vemkd.so.
2) Replace mbatchd and lib2vemkd.so from patch.
5.3 After installation
1) Log on to the LSF master host as root
2) Run badmin mbdrestart
5.4 Uninstallation
To roll back a patch:
1) Log on to the LSF master host as root
2) Restore mbatchd and lib2vemkd.so
3) Run badmin mbdrestart
