This readme provides information about installing this APAR.
This APAR provides functional fixes for the IBM Intelligent Transportation 1.6.1 release.
These fixes have arisen from enhanced testing and hardening of the release,
changes required for upcoming features,
and performance enhancements for Incident Detection and Management (IDM).
Included in this interim fix
The following reported defects are fixed in this update:
- APAR install - DB errors
- IDM - Acknowledge/Resolve actions are not available under more actions.
- IDM - Actions are all common for all the status and it should not be
- IDM - 'Failed to Load Data' error when you switch Data Sources to Incidents using List View.
- IDM - Field 'Acknowledged by' is marked as required on the update dialog for 'Source'.
- IDM - idm_dsso_online,ear is not started when the installation is done.
- IDM - In the filter, the incident heading should be Traffic Incidents.
- IDM - Multi-select functionality for incidents from list is not available
- IDM - Newly appeared string "Schedule" under "Traffic Incident Management: Band Calculation" is not translated on std_16
- IDM - Value for Search field 'Type' differs from 'Incident' and 'Source' data sources
- IDM - Consolidated Incident publishing to Fusion engine
- IDM - Event ID being passed in place of IncidentID
- IDM - Minimum Standard Deviation parameter no longer necessary
- IDM - Update commons-math jar from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3
- Incident Fusion - APAR Installer does not install new fusion engine updates
- Incident Fusion - Incident Engine stops working when new incident is sent with Priority 4
- Incident Fusion - Preview Card in 'View Source Incidents' show a different time notation than the rest of the dialogs.
- Incident Fusion - Streams services are stopped after new Incident.
- Incident Fusion - Type property loses label when the fused incident is updated
- Incident Fusion - View Source Incidents dialog shows duplicates
- Incidents - 'Manage Associated Items' action is only available when 'Incidents' AND 'Source' data sources are selected.
- IOC - Bottom panel options - has corrupt translation after TIH is installed.
- IOT - Exception caught at SystemOut.log related to wrong Transportation groups defined at IOCGroupList
- Security - Plain-text password being sent in IVA scheduler URL
- SPSS - Database settings needs to be manually created
- TIH - Install of Cognos fails with password error
- TIH - Installer (silent) proceeds with wrong topology password
- TIH - New filter panel not displaying data on map for Vehicle Data source
- TP - back-end PII strings missing in the I18N_RESOURCE db table
- TP - installer hangs for more than 2 days
- TP - Performance fix for TP prediction calculations
- VAP - Garbled text in filters
- VAP - Hard-coded streams' host name in installer
- VAP - Incorrect version in the installer log
- VAP - Installer throws exception on view_getVehicleMonitoringXml.sql
- VAP - More details option for any vehicle is empty...grey box
- VAP - Not able to apply style to stops datasource
- VAP - Selecting routes on filter does not show stops and vehicles on map
- VAP - Update localized strings for missing translations
- VAP - Vehicles don't move on map
- 'Resolved' Fused incident is overwritten by new 'Open' one.
- 'Update' dialog brings a different Source Type when opened.
- Cognos custom reports are deletable by Traffic users
- Error 404 content not available
- Exceptions thrown when generating relationships
- Field 'Number of vehicles involved' is not updated with data coming from xml
- Hard-coded strings found in System Properties page (useLastupdateDateTimeFromSource)
- Incidents are not generated - GM build used
- Installer installing streams config files as root
- mb plugin config file missing on IHS node after APAR installation
- Message broker cert needs to be updated
- Missing ENABLE_IDP config parameter in IDM_CONFIG table
- Missing more acknowledgment button from more actions on fused incident
- Removing reference to iva_utils
- Sametime portlet from dashboard is not working
- Source Incidents and Fused Incidents are not filtered by lastupdatetime
- Source Incidents different than 'IDM' are not inserted in DB
- Under Operator: Reports, the Arabic translation of "Traffic Event Reports" becomes "T r a f f i c E v e n t R e p o r t s"

The installer for this APAR.
You are strongly recommended to review the following steps
and familiarize yourself with the files in question.
Prerequisites
The mlocate
Linux package must be installed
on all nodes on which IBM Intelligent Transportation is installed
before you install this APAR.
Install mlocate
with the command:
yum install mlocate
from a Linux command prompt.
IBM Intelligent Operations for Transportation 1.6.1.0 must be installed,
with all the services running.
This can be confirmed by executing:
su - ibmadmin"
cd /opt/IBM/ISP/mgmt/scripts
./IOCControl -a status -c all"
on the analytics node.
Installation
Transfer the file
tih_tp_APAR_PO04698_LPInstaller.zip
to the /tmp
directory on the analytics node.
Extract the contents of the .zip
file,
and execute one of the following commands
based on your configuration:
sh install_APAR_PO04698.sh
iocTopologyPassword
TIH streamsNodeName root
streamsRootPassword
streamsAdministratorUser
to install only the Intelligent Traffic Awareness component of the APAR
