IBM Platform LSF 9.1.3 Fix 334796 Readme File

Abstract

This fix adds support for the ppc64le architecture.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Platform LSF 9.1.3 Fix 334796 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

This package adds support for the ppc64le architecture and has the following limitations:

1. Because FlexNet and Reprise License Manager currently do not support P8LE, there is no support for lmstat, lmutil, rlmstat, or rlmutil on P8 LE machines. To allow blcollect to collect license information from remote agent hosts that are not P8 LE, define REMOTE_LMSTAT_SERVERS in each service domain.

2. License Scheduler Basic Edition does not support the REMOTE_LMSTAT_SERVERS parameter, which means that License Scheduler Basic Edition cannot get license usage information from P8 LE machines. You must use License Scheduler Standard Edition on P8 LE machines.
