IBM Platform Symphony 7.1 Fix Pack 1 Readme File
Abstract
Platform
Symphony 7.1 Fix
Pack 1 is a refreshed offering of Platform Symphony 7.1 that
includes accumulated fixes and significant scalability enhancements. Use this refreshed
offering instead of the one available at IBM Passport Advantage.
Description
Use the
refreshed Platform Symphony 7.1 offering (Fix
Pack 1) instead of any other previous
Platform Symphony 7.1 packages.
If you have
not already installed Platform Symphony 7.1, download and install Platform Symphony 7.1 Fix Pack 1 instead. This ensures your
system has the necessary fixes and enhancements.
If you
previously installed Platform Symphony 7.1, you must upgrade to Platform Symphony 7.1 Fix Pack 1 by following the Platform
Symphony documentation for upgrading your cluster. Any future updates to
Platform Symphony 7.1 will be based off of this refreshed offering, so it is
important that you are using Fix Pack 1.
Fix Pack 1 is applicable to
all platforms supported by Platform Symphony.
Important note: Platform Symphony 7.1 Fix Pack 1
does not contain an entitlement file for the offering. You must download and
use the Platform Symphony 7.1 entitlement file from Passport Advantage that is
appropriate to the product edition you purchased.
