IBM Platform LSF 9.1.3 Fix 335719 Readme File

Abstract

P100979. Fix to prevent the queue-level utilization setting from being rounded.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Platform LSF 9.1.3 Fix 335719 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

When setting up utilization (ut) at the queue level to schedule enough CPU for jobs, for example, ut = 0.92 is 12 cores in a cluster and ut = 0.94 is 16 cores.

When setting ut = 0.92 or 0.94 in lsb.queues, bqueues -l reports ut = 0.9.
When setting ut = 0.96 in lsb.queues, bqueues -l reports ut = 1.

LSF should not round ut numbers, because this results in resources being used incorrectly.
