Abstract
File decriptior leak issue for the EGO service controller (egosc).
Description
When the system is performing many system service query operations using the Platform Management Console, there are a lot of sockets consumed, but not released.
This fix applies only to Linux x86_64.

4. Installation and configuration
1. Shut
down the cluster. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and
run:
>$BIGINSIGHT_HOME/bin/stop.sh
HAManager
2. Back up the following files on all management hosts:
$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/egosc
$EGO_TOP/gui/ego/1.2.8/lib/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/soam/mapreduce/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/soam/mapreduce/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib64/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/bin/egosh
$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib/libesc.so
4.2 Installation steps
1. Copy the appropriate zip package to each management host and decompress it:
>cp sym6.1.1_build242962.tar.gz $EGO_TOP/
>tar -zxvf sym6.1.1_build242962.tar.gz
2. Verify the installation
For example, run:
> egosc -V

4.3 After installation
Start the cluster. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:

4.4 Uninstalling
1. Stop the cluster. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
>$BIGINSIGHT_HOME/bin/stop.sh
HAManager
2. Restore the following files on all management hosts with the backed-up files:
$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/egosc
$EGO_TOP/gui/ego/1.2.8/lib/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/soam/mapreduce/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/soam/mapreduce/6.1.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/lib64/libVEMApiCommon.so
$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/bin/egosh

3. Start the cluster. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
