IBM Platform Symphony 5.1 Interim Fix #241683 Readme File

Abstract

The Platform Symphony client may encounter de-serialization errors or core dump if the direct data transfer feature is enabled.

Description

The Platform Symphony client may encounter a type mismatch error between serialization and de-serialization when receiving task output in direct data transfer mode.
When the direct data transfer feature is enabled, if massive preemption happens, or the session is closed before fetching all task results, the client process may core dump.
