IBM Platform Symphony 6.1.1 Interim Fix 240772 Readme File

Abstract

The Virtual Server Harvesting (VSH) feature leaves open sessions with vCenter.

Description

If the VSH feature is enabled, Symphony will connect to the vCenter every 30 seconds and create a new session with it. This session will not be closed by Symphony, which causes the session to leak.

After applying this fix, Symphony will reuse the old session instead of opening a new session every 30 seconds and no session leak occurs.
