IBM Platform Symphony
Abstract
When the user enables the Direct Data Transfer
(DDT) feature in security patch environment, the service instance (SI) reports
a mismatch error about data type when it is binding or updating session for
excluded common data.
Description
The mismatch issue is caused by the DDT feature in the security patch. Basing on the current design, the SI must always read the DDT URL first when binding or updating the session to create a long connection with the client. However, the client does not send the DDT URL with the excluded common data to SI.
This fix addresses the following issue:
The SI should not report the mismatch error when DDT is enabled in the security patch environment. The fix only applies to the platform: linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86.
