IBM Platform Symphony 6.1.1 Interim Fix for #237105 Readme File

Abstract

When the user enables an exclusive slot allocation policy, a segment fault occurs in the System Service Monitor (SSM).

Description

When a user enables an exclusive slot allocation policy, a race condition occurs that causes an SSM core dump in the SSM.  The SSM then tries to restart over and over repeatedly,
failing each time with a timeout, before restarting.

This fix addresses the following issue:

An SSM core dump occurs when the user enables an exclusive slot allocation policy. The fix only applies to the platform: linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64.
