IBM Platform Symphony 6.1.0.1 Fix Patch #230423
Readme File
Abstract
When the
cluster encounters problems, such as memory issues, SSM will not be able to
locate the service snapshot using the specified service name. SSM can therefore
send queued tasks to an unsuitable SIM, and the SIM is unable to process the
task successfully. SSM resends the task to the SIM, causing an infinite
loop.
Description
When the
above issue happens, it causes the following problems:
1) CPU
usage is constantly high.
2) Other
tasks have minimal opportunity to run; this backlogs the tasks.
3) Log
messages will be printed repeatedly or endlessly, causing increased disk usage.
The fix
for this problem is to break the infinite loop, so that SSM releases the SIM
resource. SSM will send the task to the new SIM for processing.
This fix patch applies only to the following platform:
กค Windows 64-bit
