Abstract
No warning or error logs logged when the kill system call in PEM fails to stop an EGO service.
Description
¡¤ Stop one of the EGO services and according to "egosh service list" the service is stuck in the DEALLOCATING STATE and RUN INIT_STATE.
¡¤ Check log for $EGO_TOP/kernel/log/pem.log.*; there is no warning or error logs logged to indicate the failure.
This fix patch applies only to the following platform:

5. Installation and configuration
5.1 Before installation
1. Shut down the cluster
Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
> source cshrc.platform
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol app disable all
> egosh service stop all
> egosh ego shutdown
2. Back up file
Log on to each management host and back up the following binary that will be replaced by this patch:
> $EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/pem
5.2 Installation steps
1. Apply the fix patch.
Log on to each management host and replace the old binary pem with the downloaded one in the following directory:
> $EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/pem
5.3 After installation
1. Verify the installation
>$EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/pem -V

2. Start the cluster
Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:

5.4 Uninstalling
1. Shut down the cluster
Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
> source cshrc.platform
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol app disable all
> egosh service stop all
> egosh ego shutdown
2. Restore the backup file
Log on to each management host and restore the backup file for the following binary:
> $EGO_TOP/1.2.8/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/pem
3. Start the cluster
Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
> egosh ego start
> soamcontrol app enable application_name
