Abstract
Symphony Workload => Configure Applications => Application
Profile page checkbox can be checked when clicking in the label area.
Description
· Symphony Workload => Configure Applications => Application Profile page checkbox can be checked when clicking in the label area.
· In the Session Type Definition part, when you click the blank area behind the checkbox, the checkbox can be checked.
This fix patch applies only to the following platform:
· Windows 64-bit

5. Limitation
It solves the issue of this style of
checkbox that when the createLabel function is
called, it can meet SocGen's requirement (checkbox in
Application Profile page).
Other styles of checkbox still keep
the original behavior. For example, the label "Rebalance when resource plan changes or time interval
changes"(Consumer Properties page) does not call the createLabel
function; it maintains the original behavior.
If other styles of checkbox have some specific need, we will do the specific change.
6. Installation and configuration
6.1
Before installation
1. Stop the running service
Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and run:
> egosh user logon
-u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service
stop WEBGUI
6.2
Installation steps
Copy the appropriate MSP packages to each management host.
· Interactive installation:
Double-click the MSP package to run the installer.
For example, if you are upgrading SOAM on a Windows 64-bit management host, download and install Symphony5.1.0_win-x64-229522.msp.
· Silent installation:
Run the installers from the command line using the following commands:
C:\>msiexec /update <package_name_path> /l*v <install_log> /norestart /quiet REINSTALLMODE=omus
Where:
· package_name_path is the fully qualified file name of the MSP package in this release.
· install_log is the log file for the upgrade.
For example, to update a Windows 64-bit management host, run the following commands:
C:\>msiexec /update C:\Symphony5.1.0_win-x64-229522.msp /l*v updateSOAM.log /norestart
/quiet REINSTALLMODE=omus

After installation
1. Clean up the GUI work directory and the browser cache.
To clean up the GUI
work directory, delete all subdirectories and files in this directory:

Log on to the master host
as the cluster administrator and run:
> egosh user logon
-u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service
start WEBGUI

Uninstalling
1. Stop the running service
Log on to the master
host as the cluster administrator and run:
> egosh user logon
-u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service
stop WEBGUI
2. Uninstall
Important:
You cannot use the Microsoft Windows “Add/Remove Programs” feature to roll back to a previous Symphony package on a management host.
1) Get the SOAM package for Symphony 5.1 (for example, Symphony5.1.0_win-x64-229522.msp).
2) Use the following command to roll back SOAM:
C:\>msiexec /uninstall <SP_path> /package <5.1_path> /norestart /quiet /l*v <rollback_log> MASTERHOST=<masterhost> CLUSTERADMIN=<domain\admin> LICENSEFILE=<lincense_path>
Where:
· SP_path is the fully qualified file name of the SOAM MSP package in this release.
· 5.1_path is the fully qualified file name of the SOAM 5.1 msi package.
· rollback_log is the log file for the SOAM rollback.
· masterhost is the master host of the cluster that is being rolled back.
· domain\admin is the domain and user name of the cluster’s administrator.
· license_path
is the fully qualified file name of the license file
3. Clean up the GUI work directory and the browser cache.
To clean
up the GUI work directory, delete all subdirectories and files in this
directory.
4. Start the service
Log on to the master
host as the cluster administrator and run:
> egosh service
start WEBGUI
