Download IBM Platform Process Manager Update from the following location: http://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/

6. Installation prerequisites

There is no prerequisite required before installing the update.

7. Installation and configuration

7.1 Before installation

Log on Process Manager server as Process Manager primary administrator or root, and shut down jfd by running "jadmin stop".

7.2 Installation steps

1. Back up $JS_SERVERDIR/fod.

2. Back up $JS_SERVERDIR/../bin/fodadmin.

3. Copy fod in this update to $JS_SERVERDIR/fod.

4. Copy fodadmin in this update to $JS_SERVERDIR/../bin/fodadmin.

7.3 After installation

Log on Process Manager server as root, and start jfd by running "jadmin start".

7.4 Rollback

1. Log on Process Manager server as Process Manager primary administrator or root, and shut down jfd by running "jadmin stop".

2. Replace $JS_SERVERDIR/fod with the backup fod in step 7.2.

3. Replace $JS_SERVERDIR/../bin/fodadmin with the backup fodadmin in step 7.2.

4. Log on Process Manager server as root, and start jfd by running "jadmin start".

8. List of fixes

"jadmin stop" fails with socket error when FOD is enabled for PM failover purpose.
