Included in this interim fix

This APAR PO01392 for IBM Intelligent City Planning and Operations 1.5.1 fixes issues with/enhances the following functionality:

• Unable to export facts for a data layer when layer name contains characters not supported by Microsoft Excel^®. This fix will prevent the use of non-supported characters in the data layer name during creation.
• Recommendation is to install this fix to prevent the problem from occurring in the future. For layer names that contain special characters, you can delete the data layer, and re-create it without using these invalid characters *:\/?[]

Prerequisites

Prerequisites for Linux^® operating systems

• 1. It is assumed that IBM Intelligent City Planning and Operations V1.5.1 has been installed
• 2. The cumulative fix APAR PO00883 has been installed. Click here for download

Installation

Installation procedure for Linux operating systems

1. Create a directory named PO01392 in directory /opt/IBM/iss/icpo/maintenance on the Application server.
2. Unpack the file ICPOv1.5.1_APAR_PO01392.zip to directory /opt/IBM/iss/icpo/maintenance/PO01392.
3. The .zip file contains these files:
   • \icpo_coop_portal_ear.ear
   • \PO01392-readme.html
   • \ICPO-1.5.1.0_ifix_PO01392.fxtag
4. On the Application server, copy file /opt/IBM/iss/icpo/maintenance/PO01392/ICPO-1.5.1.0_ifix_PO01392.fxtag to folder /opt/IBM/iss/icpo/properties/version.
5. Stop the asset_coop_portal_ear application:
• 1. Log in to WebSphere Application Server administrative console
• 2. Expand Applications
• 3. Expand Application Types
• 4. Select WebSphere Enterprise Applications
• 5. Select the check box of the applications
  • asset_coop_portal_ear
• 6. Click Stop
6. Update the asset_coop_portal_ear application:
• 1. Select asset_coop_portal_ear
• 2. Click Update button in the command bar
• 3. Click Replace the entire application option
• 4. Click Local file system
• 5. Click Browse
• 6. Select the icpo_coop_portal_ear.ear you have unpacked at the step 3
• 7. Click Open
• 8. Click Next
• 9. Click Next
• 10. Click Next
• 11. Click Next
• 12. Click Finish
• 13. Click Save
7. Synchronize all nodes
• 1. Click System Administration in the Websphere Admin Console
• 2. Click Nodes
• 3. Select all nodes
• 4. Click Full Resynchronize
8. Start the asset_coop_portal_ear application:
• 1. Login into Websphere Admin Console
• 2. Click Applications
• 3. Click Application Type
• 4. Click Websphere enterprise Applications
• 5. Select the check box of the applications
  • asset_coop_portal_ear
• 6. Click Sart
9. Clear the cache of any end-user browsers that use the ICPO application.
