This readme provides information about this interim fix.

Included in this interim fix

This fix contains scripts for the simulator application to generate demonstration data.

Prerequisites

• You must have root access to update the IBM Intelligent Operations for Water 1.5 servers.

Installation

1. Create a directory named maintenance in directory /waterbuild.
2. Unpack the file PO00170.zip to directory /waterbuild/maintenance. The .zip file contains these files:
   • PO00170/PO00170-readme.html
   • PO00170/demoscripts.zip
   • PO00170/Intelligent_Water.PO00170.fxtag
3. Navigate to the directory /waterbuild/maintenance/PO00170.
4. Unpack the file demoscripts.zip to directory /waterbuild/maintenance/PO00170/demoscripts.
5. Copy the directory /waterbuild/maintenance/PO00170/demoscripts to /opt/IBM/iss/iow/apps/simulator/demoscripts on the application server.
6. Add execute permission to script files:
• chmod a+x /opt/IBM/iss/iow/apps/simulator/demoscripts/*.sh
• chmod 777 /opt/IBM/iss/iow/apps/simulator/demoscripts
7. Copy the file Intelligent_Water.PO00170.fxtag to the directory /opt/IBM/iss/iow/properties/version on the application server.
